Friday Dec 10, 2021
On this episode I chatted with CEO of Sherpa Moving Jesse Gartman. Jesse grew up in Guthrie and like many of us lacked direction in his life. We talk about finding your purpose and traveling back through Jesse journey all over the world.
A word from Jesse.
As the CEO of Sherpa Moving and Storage, I am dedicated not only to providing our customers with impeccable service but also providing jobs to qualified individuals. From the Marine Corps to NYC over the last 17 years I couldn’t be more excited to come back home to Oklahoma to bring my knowledge in high quality moving services to the metro area. I know I can meet the demands of the market and the people as well. I want nothing more than to give OKC and the surrounding area a fun new moving and storage solution to call their own because there is nothing more important to me than supporting communities with outstanding professional moving services.

This is Graham Colton - History & Returning To The Stage
Thursday Nov 18, 2021
Thursday Nov 18, 2021
On todays episode I chatted with OKC's own Graham Colton. After a chart-topping major label career, numerous TV appearances, and hundreds of sync placements Colton continues to expand on the label “singer-songwriter.” He has logged thousands of miles on the road and shared stages with some of music’s biggest artists including Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Kelly Clarkson, The Wallflowers, Counting Crows, John Mellencamp, Maroon 5, and many many more.
It wasn’t until he returned home to Oklahoma City however that he truly found his footing. Aside from operating Lunar Manor studios, and regular collaboration with Chad Copelin at Blackwatch Studios, he co-owns and operates Oklahoma City’s most talked about music venue, The Jones Assembly.
After a seven year hiatus OKC native Graham Colton returns to the live stage and it just so happens to be the stage he helped build along-side operating partners Brian Bogert, Scott Marsh & Courtney Mankin. The Jones Assembly will host the singer / songwriter’s 20 year anniversary homecoming concert featuring Graham and his band, special guest appearances, a pre-concert cookout, and after-party.

This is Sheridan Marquardt - Celestial Cycles
Tuesday Nov 02, 2021
Tuesday Nov 02, 2021
On this episode I chatted with Celestial Cycles owner Sheridan Marquardt. Soon to be celebrating 20 years of Celestial Cycles. Next year is the year of the Tiger and as you will find out, the Tiger has a role and will be making its way into certain items of clothing in the store.
Celestial Cycles started as a way for owner Sheridan Marquardt to keep his love for cycling alive. Growing up in OKC, Sheridan, like most kids, rode his bike all over town, and he raced BMX throughout childhood. While at UCO, he discovered mountain biking, racing, and a life-long passion for bicycles.
In order to support his passion, he took a job at a bike shop, and then another one, until he decided to open his own business in 1999. Drawing inspiration from Celestial Seasonings, a tea company, of all places, that sponsored competitive women’s cycling in the 80’s, Sheridan founded Celestial Cycles. Originally founded as a frame-building business, Sheridan sought to emulate the commitment to and passion for cycling demonstrated by this unlikely namesake. Within a year he had his sights set on expanding his operations, and in 2002, the business transitioned to a full-service bike shop.
Now, nearly 20 years later, Celestial Cycles is an Oklahoma City institution, and Sheridan employs a full sales and service staff to ensure you get the best possible experience and quality support. From fixing flats to custom bike fits, from finding your first bike to restoring an old, faithful steed, we have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand to help! The best part about Celestial Cycles—other than the personalized assistance you get from a shop of local cycling enthusiasts—is that it’s a one-stop shop.
