Thursday May 27, 2021
On this episode I chatted with mother daughter duo Mindy and Susanne about their love for travel and teaching languages. Mindy teaches adult languages at OCU, UCO and Susanna teaches kiddos at Schools in the area. Growing up with a huge passion for travel and teaching it felt natural to put the two together. They saw an opportunity in the market for a better service and created OuiandSi.com.
"Our adult language courses and children's activity boxes are all designed by parents who are French and Spanish professors. Our digital lessons are fun, approachable and backed by years of teaching experience. Our activity boxes are thoughtfully handmade with the goal of play-based learning in mind. Inside you will find high quality manipulatives including shapes, letters, numbers and blocks. These treasures support fine motor skills, sensory experiences and open-ended play and learning. Our lesson plans supplement this learning experience with new vocabulary words, fun stories, songs and games."

"I’m a Christian mom with a gay kid living in Oklahoma saying enough is enough. If I don’t fight for my son (and his rights) like my hair is on fire, then who will? It’s time we celebrate our LGBTQ+ children. And I won’t stop until I no longer hear horror stories from the LGBTQ+ community and their mothers."
We talk about the journey of Free Mom Hugs. What started as a simple gesture is now a gift nationwide operation with chapters all over the country and even a movie coming! WHAAAAAT!?!?!

Thursday May 20, 2021
On this episode I chatted with Derek Duty and Jeff Cole about distilling bourbon, vodka and gin in Guthrie Oklahoma. Prairie Wolf Spirits was purchased by a band - a pack, if you will - of friends and native Oklahomans who acquired the portfolio, which features Prairie Wolf Vodka, Loyal Gin, and Prairie Wolf DARK. In early summer of 2018, the team launched Obahoshe inland-style rum made with sorghum sourced from farms in Wewoka, OK.
We talked a lot about where the company is heading, the big changes coming to Prairie Wolf including a name change soon to Wonderfolk. Starting June 1st Wonderfolk will be distilling many tasty beverages in the heart of Guthrie Oklahoma. They will be opening a bar soon as well as a food truck park and many other spots to bring the community together and enjoy drinks all year round.

This is Steve Irby - KICKER Audio
Friday May 14, 2021
Friday May 14, 2021
On this episode I chatted with KICKER CEO Mr Steve Irby. In 1973, KICKER's Livin' Loud legacy began as a two-man operation, hand-building professional-speaker systems in a narrow one-car garage. With very few resources and an intense love for music, company founder and current president Steve Irby invented the mobile-stereo enclosure market from his Stillwater, Oklahoma community, when he developed the Original KICKER. It was the first full frequency-range speaker box designed specifically for cars and trucks. From that historic moment, delivering concert-like audio quality across a wide volume range with renowned bass and accurate sound has always been the KICKER way.
As a continually evolving brand, KICKER reached new heights 35 years later with the development of “Lifestyle” home and personal products for digital media devices, which include Bluetooth® speaker systems, high-performance headphones and noise-isolating in-ear headsets.
KICKER graces the Stillwater skyline and has stayed true to the values from which the company was built. KICKER products are designed and shipped from a 280,000-square-foot facility that houses nearly 200 energetic individuals who constantly push the limits of audio-design technology and performance.
KICKER products are currently sold by approximately 1,200 authorized dealers in the United States, and export sales are managed through a network of distributors serving over 2,000 dealers in approximately 50 countries.
As audio continues to evolve, KICKER will continue to be on the industry's cutting edge, pushing the limits of audio design technology, performance and integration in the quest for ultimate sound.

This is Colton Craig - The Oklahoma Golf Course Architect with CoHost Tyler Davis
Wednesday May 12, 2021
Wednesday May 12, 2021
On this episode myself and Tyler Davis interviewed golf course architect, OSU Grad and Tulsa native Colton Craig. Colton tells us all about his upbringing. His love for the land, how it naturally forms a golf course and his current and future projects.
A word from Colton. "Golf course architecture has been a passion of mine my entire life. My old files are filled with golf courses I drew starting at the age of three. I read every book on the topic I can find, and study/walk golf courses religiously. In 2011, I started in the industry as an apprentice to a golf architect in my home town. After learning the basic principles of routing and how to read topography maps, I wanted to get my hands dirty. Over the next couple of years I worked on various maintenance and construction crews to learn the mechanics and operations of a golf course. Determined to continue my dream, I went to Oklahoma State University to get a degree in Landscape Architecture. From there I was able to acquire internships with golf architects around the country. During these experiences I was exposed to all facets of the design process and different project types including renovations, restorations, and new courses. In February of 2019 I started my own design firm and we are currently building our first 18-hole golf course (Park Mammoth Golf Club). I would like to take this time to thank the love of my life Annie who has supported me and my dream since the first day we met."
