Thursday Sep 01, 2022
Thursday Sep 01, 2022
On this episode I chatted with Oklahoma photographer Tony Hebert about his business and passion for photography. In specific, night and dark sky photography. Tony who used to be aa police officer with a photography side business suffered a bit of a physical scare. Causing him to leave the force and commit fully to his photography business. His company 319 Photography is extremely unique in everything they do. My favorite being the workshops for customers. Tony and his team take photographers on three to four day workshops around the country. As he says in the interview the best skies for dark photography are in the Western half of the country with less light pollution. So Tony and his team take groups out to the desert to show them how to capture and edit the best photos. He even goes to Alaska to photography the northern lights and see bears!

This is Carlos Barboza - A Rise To Mural Fame
Tuesday Aug 30, 2022
Tuesday Aug 30, 2022
On this episode I chatted with artist and muralist Carlos Barboza about his rise to fame in the Oklahoma mural scene. Carlos is extremely talented and after listening to this interview you will understand why.
Bio
Born in San José, Costa Rica, Carlos Barboza has been dedicated to the visual arts from a very early age. Beginning with caricature lessons and a healthy obsession with movies, Carlos's artwork has always been character-driven and inspired by cinematic imagery.
From digital illustration to mural painting, Carlos is constantly evolving as an artist. He pushes himself to go beyond what’s possible stylistically and technically, while nevertheless maintaining what he believes is the most important value— emotionally driven storytelling.
Carlos currently resides in Oklahoma City with his beautiful wife, Leslie. And also… he has a daughter now. A perfect tiny human. And he has no idea what he’s doing.

This is Gatlin Didier - Farm Stuff with Darrell
Friday Aug 26, 2022
Friday Aug 26, 2022
On this episode I chatted with social media farming sensation Gatlin Didier or more commonly known as "Farm Stuff with Darrell" Gatlin grew up in western Oklahoma with dreams of being a professional baseball player. But after realizing thats not a possibility he turned to his other passion, acting and being on stage. Like everyone who wants to be a start he headed to California and worked his absolute rear off to further his acting career. As he felt like he was turning a corner, covid hit. Which looking back was the best thing that happened to him because it forced him to pivot. Gatlin headed back to Oklahoma and continued to make content. Which is where the farm content started and took off. He hasn't looked back since. Has moved back to Oklahoma with his California bride and creates content full time on social media. Making a career from brand deals with companies like Dots Pretzels, Amazon, Camping World, Oklahoma Beef and more.

I'm a Partner and CEO at 8020, a no-code product studio in the Tiny Capital family and a leading Webflow Enterprise agency.
At 8020, we help companies move faster without code — designing/developing Webflow websites for the likes of Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, TQ Ventures, Enovix ($RSVA), Wrapbook, Alltrue, Girlboss, Pilot.com, and many more.
Before I became CEO of 8020, I ran another leading no-code agency, Websterpeace, and sold it to Tiny Capital in 2020.
These days, you'll find me running one of three things:

The Visual Developers Podcast: A weekly podcast that I co-host — talking about all things no-code. We interview CEOs + makers in the no-code space, catch up on the latest in no-code news, give our honest feedback on tools, and more.
Visual Dev School: Our school to help democratize software development and give everyone the skills they need to build their next technical product or startup.

This is Piyush Patel - I Want To Change The World
Thursday Aug 11, 2022
Thursday Aug 11, 2022
On this episode I chatted with Piyush Patel about his entrepreneurial journey. Last fall I had the opportunity to tour Piyush's home in OKC and boy is it special. Almost as special as his story and message for you all today. Piyush grew up in El Reno Oklahoma and learned the value of hard work and gratitude from a young age. However, culturally his parents wanted him to become one of three things. To which Piyush did not take to very enthusiastically. So he joined the military to pay for his schooling and became a teacher. Working part time at the local radio station at OSU he noticed a room. A special room where people spent hours and hours in, that room was the animation room. He was hooked, marrying his passion for teaching and learning animation his business was born. I'll let Piyush take it from here. This story is just one of many example of the opportunity that this incredible country presented to immigrants like myself and Piyush. The American dream is a real thing and we are living examples of that dream.
