How It Started:

"I was at my Grandma and Papa's farm house in Henryetta, Oklahoma sitting at their old yellow kitchen table. It was a beautiful spring morning with birds chirping and the flowers blooming. No older than 6 or 7,  I was painting in one of those 'just add water' watercolor books. As I finished the last painting I was extremely proud and held it up as the excess water ran down the page. I then hung each picture on the refrigerator and marked them for either a nickel or the 'good ones' for a dime. Not being able to contain my excitement, I ran to get grandma to show her all my paintings for sale. You know what she did? She bought all of them. I was so excited I had SOLD my art work. I was on cloud nine.

She had such a huge impact on my life and I would not be where I am today without her love and guidance."
