On this episode I chatted with Marissa Tucker from Tucker's Tulips in Ada Oklahoma. Marissa graduated from East Central University and after a brief career in teaching decided to move back to Ada with her husband to start a tulip field. Marissa wanted to create a space where people can enjoy the outdoors as much as she does. She's done exactly that! For more information on this years bloom season go to:

The flower field is located on part of the Dyer Family Farm; this land has been in the family for multiple generations. Marissa and Cody Tucker moved out to Ada, OK in the Summer of 2018 with aspirations to do big things. Inspired by their favority motto, “Leave it better than you found it,” flowers seemed to make sense; they make people happy and add beauty to the world. Soon enough, over 11 varieties of tulips were planted and Tucker’s Tulips was born.
